Birth Order affecting romantic relationships

Do you think birth order affects romantic relationships? According to "The Birth Order Book of Love," it definitely does. And this actually sounds believable to me-if you're the firstborn, you're probably going to be more bossy since you have younger siblings, etc. The compatiblity theory describes the best matches for people based on your birth order:

-An older sister with younger brothers make a good match with a younger brother with older sisters
-A younger sister of sisters make a good match with an older brother of sisters

An older brother and an older sister apparently wouldn't make a good couple because there would be rank conflict, and etc.

What do you guys think? Do you agree with this theory? Are you dating somebody that's a good match for you according to the birth orders?

Thanks, but yeah I figured that..Idk guys are to emotional lol. Anyway I can see how that theory would work. The first two make sense mainly because the two people can relate. The last one however, well they would probably have an inferiority complex..unless they are really super nice that don't start anything and thats kind of rare.

What you say does make sense in a way, but I'd say that's 5% impact on relationships at the most. A child's character sometimes is determined before they were even born.  I think parents have greater effect of their kid's relationship more than anything.

thanks for the advice. I have tried talking to him... all he says is "I don't know what happened but it just happened." It's been almost half a year and I still replay the break-up like it was just yesterday.

I suppose that birth order could be a factor, but I think there would probably be a lot of other influences as well. It also might depend on the age differences between siblings and the type of relationships you have with them?? I dunno, it's all very interesting though.

I'm an only child. I wonder who I fit with?

Middle children normally get along with everybody, I believe. (Lucky for me, I'm a middle child!) We just learn to put up with everybody's crap.
